Achieving The Magnolia Look With Style

Recently, someone commented on a post saying, “I would LOVE to see some tips on making that Joanna Gaines-farmhouse style look great and not just look like old stuff in my house.”

Shiplap is the easiest wall treatment to use to achieve this look, plus it is readily available. There are also wallpaper companies focusing on offering the Magnolia look.

Subtlety is key when it comes to upholstery. Upholstery is best in small prints or solids, again in the quiet colors, as to complement the rest of the room, not steal the show.
