Have you ever thought, “I’m not someone who would work with an Interior Designer”? Maybe it’s because you have an image in your head of the stiletto-wearing avante guard diva like they used to show in the movies. In reality, think of us more like those who help you prepare your taxes. We are up on the latest information. We help you do the groundwork to make sure you don’t miss something really helpful or make a mistake that you would regret for many years to come. We can also be looked at as a resource to make the money you do spend go the farthest and make the most of your hard earned dollars. Okay, so we may be working from a completely different side of the brain than your tax preparer, but God has wired each of us for our unique skill sets. We know nothing about planting crops, working on a surgical floor or even taxes but we are good at what we do. Unlike the afore mentioned tax preparer, our services at Vander Berg Furniture and flooring are FREE! Just saying.
So how does working with a designer generally work? Call or stop in the store (when we are open again). We can set up a time to come to your home and get a sense of what things you are interested in working on in your home or business. If you are building, we can look over floor plans and offer insight from the many projects we have seen and done over the years. If you only need a refresher in an area we can help with that too. We love what we do and are happy to help with any project you are thinking of for your space.
Often we will give a few alternatives and use that as a starting point to get you where you are comfortable with the look and cost of a project. We encourage you to share your opinions and reactions so the end result reflects you and your family for years to come.
