Color: What’s Trending
What colors will dominate interior design in the coming year? Fresh off our trip to High Point Market I wanted to share what we learned about upcoming color trends. Comfy neutrals dominated backgrounds. Walls were mid-tone and a bit softened shades of oatmeal to grays. 
Almost all the grays we saw were infused with browns to play off the reclaimed and timeworn sensibility that is so popular everywhere.
Adding a pop of color through accessories and pillows is definitely a trend. Denim blues, purples, fuchsia, soft greens, and a deep teal towards the navy tone. Orange is still a favorite, and another “color of 2016” is Ochre gold.
Menswear fabrics with felts or tweeds are handsome and shown all over, and rugs add color and depth to any setting.
