Welcome to week 6 of our Summer Blog Series: VB Inspired Designs! This week, we’ll be showcasing one of our new upholstery lines, Temple, as we share about our latest design. Temple is a “mom and pop” company that began in an old church building over 50 years ago in a small town in North Carolina. Tailored furniture is a unique attribute to any home, and keeping the fabrics neutral will ensure they stand the test of time. You can show your personality through your accessories, even changing them seasonally if you desire. The accent pillows and ottoman give subtle pops of yellow and grey, which can easily fit into any home’s décor. The selected patterns provide added interest to the larger pieces of furniture.
If you want to make a little bolder statement, the lamp used on the end table is the way to go. It provides great contrast, both texturally and visually. The darker colors make it stand in the background of the light furniture, giving the space a larger, more dimensional feel. The metal work in the lamp offers a texture not seen anywhere else in the space. The wire frame of the lamp is very stylish and adds dimension without taking up visual space. It adds a unique feature to the entire room, and ties into the darker wood accents of the tables.
