Finding YOUR Perfect Mattress
By Keanna – Another day, another bad night of sleep? Are you always waking up with a sore back or tweaked neck? Do you wish you could have just one night of good sleep? Have you had your mattress for more than 8 to 10 years? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then it is most likely time for a new mattress.
Quality of a mattress is directly related to the quality of sleep you’ll have, which, in turn, correlates with the quality of day you’ll have. I, personally, can vouch for a good mattress (no more headaches!).
Mattress shopping is probably the last thing you want to do, so I’m here to make it easier for you with a few tips and tricks on how to find your perfect mattress.
- On your drive to our store, decide what you liked about your previous mattress and what you didn’t like – then tell us! This helps us determine which mattresses to guide you to.
- Go in with an idea of what kind of mattress you are looking for (plush, firm, inner spring, memory foam, etc.), but remain open-minded (things have changes since you last bought a mattress). Be prepared for these changes!
- When you start trying them out in the store, lay on a few mattresses for upwards of 15 minutes each – this is usually enough time to see if your body feels sore or uncomfortable! Lay how you would normally sleepy at night. This gives you the most realistic experience.
Don’t be afraid to ask us questions – we’re here to help. Most importantly, take your time testing them out; a mattress is a big investment, but can be one of the best investments you’ll make.
